Everything has a price

Whilst sitting down with my teapot on Wednesday I noticed a loud banging from out the front of our house, after asking John what it was, he peeked out the window to see the real estate agent from hell (the one who’s been showing every Tom, Dick & whoever through our home) messing around with the FOR SALE sign. We cringed and waited for him to come to the door and rubbish on with more of his “Really, I’m a trustworthy guy!!” talk. Anyway, seconds after this banging and stuff he drives away and we sort of thought ok, that’s weird, perhaps the sign was coming out with all this rain we’re having, but John went out and had a look and in fact, a nasty big “SOLD” plaque has been hammered onto the sign. Yep, the house has been sold but we’ve not been told anything other than to be given this rude gesture. A phone call would have been ok. Hmmmmm……only time will tell. Watch this space.

what a bugger. the least he could have done was walked a couple of metres to the door and told you himself. oh well. i hope some nice baby boomers bought it as an investment and will be happy to retain good tenants.
